Analytical Chemist
Job Summary: Conducts analytical testing to support the new product development, new/alternate technology evaluation and quality control of manufactured products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Conducts analytical testing for quality control and research

Assists in writing and establishing specifications

Provides analytical expertise on appropriate testing strategy for new product development

Develops and implements new techniques for the analysis of the chemicals
-
Ensures analytical methods are designed for consistent quality results
-
Prepares and updates written testing procedures and generates SOPs for laboratory operations
-
Maintains complete records of testing data and results
-
Responsible for general/preventive instruments maintenance and their calibration
-
Advises and assists customers with testing procedures
-
Assists in various aspects of the quality complaint / resolution process including supplier, and third party Lab interact
-
Prepares presentations for management, the sales team, customers, and others as needed
-
Provides product training programs and presentations for the customers, staff, new hires, representatives, and others as needed
-
Assists marketing with technical information as needed.
Qualifications/Experience:
-
Bachelor’s Degree– Chemistry or related field from four year accredited college.

Minimum 3 years work experience in related field.

Chromatography experience (GC,HPLC) is required as well as FT-IR
Technical Service Specialist
Job Summary: Responds to customer technical inquiries. Provides Technical Service to the customers identified to their satisfaction as per the set standard and thereby resulting in Sales. Provides training, prepares presentations and documentation as requested. Ensure statutory compliance of all regulatory requirements.

Responds to customer inquiries and requests, including preparation of special documentation

Investigates, answers and resolves technical problems and conducts related laboratory experimentation when necessary

Maintains a product information database to facilitate inquiry responses

Works with customers to trouble-shoot formulations

Advises and assists customers with preparation of new formulas
-
Assists in various aspects of the quality complaint / resolution process including customer, departmental, supplier, and third party Lab interaction

Assists in monitoring and handling expired or soon to expire inventory including supplier interaction
-
Monitors and responds to information requests regarding FDA and international industry requirements and regulations; including organizing international product registration

Prepares presentations for management, the sales team, customers, and others as needed

Provides product training programs and presentations for the customers, staff, new hires, representatives, and others as needed

Assists marketing with technical information as needed.

Attends technical meetings and keeps updated on current industry trends and technology

Qualifications/Experience:
Inside Sales Manager
Job Summary: Generates inside sales by maintaining and expanding relationships with Tier 2, 3, and 4, clients. Manages Canadian sales.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Develops and implements telesales strategies for maintaining and expanding sales that are in line with corporate goals and objectives.

Conceptualizes/develops the telemarketing strategy including strategic plan, scripting, campaign timing, converting prospects to outside sales, etc.

Forecasts the demand for product(s) and prepare budgets
-
Documents all sales activity in contact management database.
-
Follows up on sample requests.
-
Follows up on leads from industry shows.
-
Establishes recurring call schedules with customer and follow-up activities.
-
Develops long distance account relationship, recommends new product and technology, and obtains feedback on samples.

Participates in trade shows, weekly sales conference calls, and quarterly sales meetings.

Schedules visits with customers when necessary
-
Prepares call reports according to schedule.

Manages and supports Canadian Customer/Distributor Accounts and visits accounts as necessary.
Qualifications/Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field.
-
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the chemical, personal care industry.
-
Willing to travel (approximately 20%) with some overnight stays.
-
Excellent follow-up, communication and computer skills.
