Analytical Chemist

Job Summary:   Conducts analytical testing to support the new product development, new/alternate  technology evaluation and quality control of manufactured products.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
  • Conducts  analytical testing for quality control and research
  • Assists in writing and establishing specifications
  • Provides analytical expertise on appropriate testing strategy for new product development
  • Develops and implements new techniques for the analysis of the chemicals
  • Ensures analytical methods are designed for consistent quality results
  • Prepares and updates written testing procedures and generates SOPs for laboratory operations 
  • Maintains complete records of testing data and results
  • Responsible for general/preventive instruments maintenance and their calibration
  • Advises and assists customers with testing procedures
  • Assists in various aspects of the quality complaint / resolution process including supplier, and third party Lab interact
  • Prepares presentations for management, the sales team, customers, and others as needed
  • Provides product training programs and presentations for the customers, staff, new hires, representatives, and others as needed
  • Assists marketing with technical information as needed.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree– Chemistry or related field from four year accredited college.
  • Minimum 3 years work experience in related field.
  • Chromatography experience (GC,HPLC) is required as well as FT-IR
 

Technical Service Specialist

Job Summary:  Responds to customer technical inquiries. Provides Technical Service to the customers identified to their satisfaction as per the set standard and thereby resulting in Sales. Provides training, prepares presentations and documentation as requested. Ensure statutory compliance of all regulatory requirements.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and requests, including preparation of special documentation
  • Investigates, answers and resolves technical problems and conducts related laboratory experimentation when necessary
  • Maintains a product information database to facilitate inquiry responses
  • Works with customers to trouble-shoot formulations
  • Advises and assists customers with preparation of new formulas
  • Assists in various aspects of the quality complaint / resolution process including customer, departmental, supplier, and third party Lab interaction
  • Assists in monitoring and handling expired or soon to expire inventory including supplier interaction
  • Monitors and responds to information requests regarding FDA and international industry requirements and regulations; including organizing international product registration
  • Prepares presentations for management, the sales team, customers, and others as needed
  • Provides product training programs and presentations for the customers, staff, new hires, representatives, and others as needed
  • Assists marketing with technical information as needed.
  • Attends technical meetings and keeps updated on current industry trends and technology
  • Evaluates new technologies for Tri-K
  • Prepares collaterals for our Focus Products as per company’s schedule
 
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s Degree– Chemistry or related field from four year accredited college.
  • Minimum 5 years work experience in related field.
 

 

Product Manager

Job Summary:   Ensures profitability by implementing strategies for new and existing products, with primary focus on anti-aging ingredients and proteins.  Responsible for supporting, developing and managing the product line strategies for global markets. Provides and supports ahead of the curve product management.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.
 
  • Manage the specialty product line to achieve growth and margin targets, including implementation of pricing models, portfolio management, and customer projects
  • Assess product or product line competition, update pricing matrices, review and recommend product pricing
  • Recommend product line additions and deletions based upon market and sales data, technical reviews, competitor analysis, as well as customer and sales surveys
  • Identify, develop, and implement strategic concepts that will profitably grow the portfolio
  • Manage product line financial forecasts, demand forecasts, cost reduction initiatives, market/competitive intelligence, business process improvement, and tactical marketing activities 
  • Coordinate with Marketing Department for product introduction launches and promotional activities, and provide input on global market needs
  • Ensure accurate budget forecasting in order to achieve sales and profits at or above market levels
  • Identify new, innovative products, and consult with internal technical and business experts in order to develop a 'go to market' strategy
  • Attend scientific meetings as necessary, to determine new trends in the product lines, review competition and introduce/promote products at trade show booths
  • Review technical journals to develop new product ideas and approaches for all product lines
  • Create technical and promotional materials in conjunction with other departments in order to drive marketing activities worldwide
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing expenditures in product promotion
  • Coordinate with Principals in terms of understanding the pipeline of innovations and their marketing strategies
Qualifications/Experience:
  • B.S. degree required, concentrations in business, chemistry or related discipline a plus. 
  • Minimum 5 years of increasing responsibility in product management, with demonstrated leadership, team building, interpersonal and communication skills, strongly preferred.

Travel Requirements

  • 40% travel both domestic and international. Overnight stays of one or more days may be required
