TRI-K LAUNCHES TWO NEW ACTIVES FROM MIBELLE BIOCHEMISTRY TO US MARKET Mibelle Announces Launch of Alpine Rose Active and Sunflower Shoot Active NORTHVALE, NJ, November 24, 2010 - Switzerland based Mibelle Biochemistry has announced the launch of two new natrually derived actives for the personal care market - Alpine Rose Active and Sunflower Shoot Active. These products effectively target causes of skin aging, offering protection and longevity to the skin. With age, cells produce less energy and antioxidants while levels of extracellular matrix degrading matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) increase causing a loss of elasticity and firmness of the skin. Sunflower Shoot Active has been shown to reverse the aging process by stimulating cellular production of energy and antioxidnats, stimulating the buildup of ECM proteins, and reinforcing the skin barrier. This natural active is extremely effective at delaying aging and preserving the skin's structure and quality. Meanwhile, Alpine Rose Active targets aging of the skin by inhibiting the carbonylation of cutaneous proteins, an irreversible and unrepairable oxidative process induced by reactive oxygen species. Alpine Rose Active has also been shown to display antiviral effects, offering protection against herpes simplex virus type-1. Both products are ECOCERT certified and sustainably sourced. These products are available in the US exclusively through TRI-K Industries. |
