Alpha Bisabolol is a natural anti-microbial and anti-inflammatory agent that promotes healing and soothing. It is a major component of German chamomile and is often found in essential oils. It can also be synthetically produced. TRI-K Alpha Bisabolol Natural is sourced from the Candeia tree and contains 100% (-)-α-bisabolol, the only biologically active isomer, while the synthetic version of the product contains only 50% (racemic mixture (±) α-bisabolol). This colorless, viscous oil is known for its antioxidant properties, which help reduce the signs of aging and keep skin firm and youthful. It is thought to provide antioxidant effects for the skin that may help the appearance of aging.
